The temperature ranges around 14 Celsius degrees and the weather can be too cloudy or rainy.
What to wear: light clothing, water boots, sandals, raincoats, hat for sun protection. The hotel provides boots to lend to our guests.
As the hotel information shows, it’s located at 3600 Mts above sea level, so it’s recommended to people who are not used to this altitude, before and during their stay in the place, drink lots of water and eat little because sometimes digestion is impaired by altitude.
For the same reason we don’t recommend subjecting the body to intense activities like, long walks without rest intervals.
There are many people that travel with children; the Salar de Uyuni is a 100% natural destination where there are no attractions for children. However, if your children are used to spending many hours sitting on a bus or a car don't hesitate to bring them along.
In the Salar de Uyuni area, Uyuni city and around they don’t have a central electrical net, so for this reason sometimes there might be blackouts, randomly and occasionally that can last up 12 hours or more. The hotel has a generator to provide electrical power which operates from 19:00 to 24:00 hours when electricity is more required.
The internet service provided by the hotel, because of the area where the hotel is located the internet service is via satellite. This is relevant because any weather problem like wind storms or rain can limit the service speed or cut it partially.
